Forms you can submit
This website has two forms.
The "Request a private demo" form collects the name, company, and email address or WhatsApp number you provide. The contact form collects your name, email address, the reason you selected, and your message.
Both are stored so the SEALUTION team can reply to you. We do not sell what you submit, and we do not pass it to anyone else for their own use.
Cookies, and the choice you're given
This site currently sets no analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. The cookie controls exist so that a category can be turned on only with your permission if we ever add one, and so visitors in regions that require an explicit choice are actually offered one.
The four categories are:
- Necessary: basic security, and remembering your choice here. Always on, and can't be switched off.
- Functional: remembers preferences you set on this site. Not currently used.
- Analytics: not currently used. See "What we record when you visit a page" below for what happens server-side regardless of this setting.
- Marketing: not currently used.
Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage under sealutionConsent, not in a cookie. It stays on your device, is never sent to us, and clearing your browser data removes it.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the cookie button in the bottom-left corner of any page.
To decide whether to show you the full consent banner or the quieter button, the site asks our own server for the two-letter country code that Cloudflare has already attached to your request. That check happens once, returns only a country, and is not stored or logged.
What we record when you visit a page
Separately from cookies, our server keeps a log of page views so we can see how the site is being used. This does not rely on cookies, and it happens whether or not you accept anything above.
For each page view we record: the time, your IP address, your country, the page path, the domain of the site that referred you (if any), your browser's user-agent string, and whether the request looks automated. We use this to understand traffic and to spot abuse. It is visible only to us, on a dashboard that is not linked from the site and sits behind an access restriction.
An IP address can count as personal data, which is why we are naming it here rather than describing this as anonymous.
Third parties that can see your visit
We do not embed advertising or social tracking. These services are involved in delivering the site, and by the nature of how the web works they receive your IP address when your browser requests something from them:
- Cloudflare: sits in front of this website, serving and protecting it. All traffic passes through it.
- Google Fonts (
fonts.googleapis.com,fonts.gstatic.com): serves the typefaces used across the site. - unpkg: serves the MapLibre mapping library on pages that show a map.
- CARTO: serves the map tiles on those same pages.
- ip-api.com: used only from our server, not your browser. IP addresses from the page-view log are sent in batches so the dashboard can show an approximate location. Results are cached so the same address is not looked up repeatedly.
How long we keep things
Form submissions are kept until we no longer need them to follow up with you, or until you ask us to delete them.
Page-view logs are not currently deleted on a fixed schedule, which means they should be assumed to be retained indefinitely at present. We intend to set and publish a defined retention period here.
Your choices
You can change or withdraw your cookie choice at any time using the button in the bottom-left corner of any page.
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. If you are in a region with statutory data-protection rights, such as the EU, UK, or Indonesia, those rights apply on top of this and we will honour them.
How to reach us
For anything in this policy, including a deletion request, use the contact form or the details on the "Request a private demo" form.
Changes to this policy
We update this page when the website changes, and we date it at the top so you can tell when that last happened.
