Get on board

From signed
to sailing.

You don't get a download link and a manual. You get a working operation: your data seeded, your team trained, and six months of us watching over it. Here's exactly what that looks like.

Business provisioning

We set the ship up before you board.

Onboarding isn't "install and good luck." Before you go live, the platform is already configured as your operation: your ports, your routes, your fleet, your rates.

01

Requirements gathering

We collect what makes your operation yours: company info, ports, routes, vessel types, cargo types, package tiers, tax rules, and your branding.

02

System configuration

Company profile, email, currencies, roles and permissions, initial user accounts, and system settings, configured to your business, not a template.

03

Environment setup

Three environments deployed: development, staging, and live. Domain-bound licenses activated, web server hardened, SSL configured.

04

Data seeding

Master data goes in before day one: port registry, route definitions, fleet and vessel registry, cargo types, and pricing tiers.

05

Integration setup

GPS devices, payment gateways, external APIs: whatever your operation already relies on gets connected during onboarding, as agreed.

06

UAT & go-live

Your team tests on staging. We fix what surfaces. You sign off. The live environment activates, with handover documentation in your hands.

Your first data migration from existing spreadsheets or systems is included in onboarding, free.

The typical passage

Four weeks, signed to sailing.

A general picture of how onboarding usually runs. Your exact schedule is agreed at kickoff, around your data and your team's availability.

Week 1 of 4

Data gathering

We collect the shape of your operation: company details, ports, routes, vessels, cargo types, pricing tiers, tax rules, and branding, plus your chart of accounts, warehouse layout and equipment list if you are using the accounting, warehouse and maintenance modules. You assign one person who knows the business. We handle the rest.

RequirementsMaster dataOpening balancesBranding
You bring
  • Company details and branding assets
  • Ports, routes, fleet and rate sheets, in whatever form they exist today
  • If you are using accounting: your chart of accounts and opening balances
  • If you are using the warehouse: your rack layout and current stock, with whose stock it is
  • If you are using maintenance: the equipment list, current meter readings and service intervals
  • One person who knows how the business runs
We do
  • Run a structured requirements session
  • Collect and validate your master data
  • Prepare the configuration and seeding plan
Week 2 of 4

Data implementation

Your data goes into the platform. The three environments are deployed, licenses activated, the system configured, and your master data seeded into development and staging.

3 environmentsConfigurationData seeding
You bring
  • Three domains or subdomains, hosting and SSL
  • The list of staff who need accounts, with roles
We do
  • Deploy development, staging and live
  • Activate licenses and configure the system
  • Seed ports, routes, fleet and pricing, plus accounts, racking and equipment where those modules are in scope
Week 3 of 4

Testing & training

Your team gets their hands on it. User acceptance testing runs on staging while the two training sessions bring your admins and operational staff up to speed on your own configuration.

You bring
  • Your team's time for the two sessions
  • Real shipments and real cases to test with
  • Honest feedback on what feels wrong
We do
  • Run both training sessions on your setup
  • Support the testing and log every finding
  • Record sessions for your future hires
Week 4 of 4

Bug fix and launch

We fix what testing surfaced, you sign off, and the live environment activates with handover documentation in your hands. Your six months of free maintenance start counting from here.

You bring
  • Final review and sign-off
  • A go-live date that suits your operation
We do
  • Fix everything testing surfaced
  • Activate live and hand over documentation
  • Start your six months of free maintenance
Training sessions

Two sessions with the whole crew.

Training with the people who built the system, on your configuration, not a generic demo account.

Session 1 · Admin & operations

Run the platform.

A full system walkthrough for the people in charge of the operation.

  • User management, roles and permissions
  • The complete shipment lifecycle
  • Fleet, routes and voyage scheduling
  • Financials, reporting and settings
4 to 6 hours · on-site or video call
Session 2 · Staff & workflow

Run the day.

Hands-on, for the team that lives in the system every day.

  • Creating shipments and managing quotations
  • The invoice workflow, start to finish
  • Task management and messaging
  • The mobile app, in their hands
4 to 6 hours · on-site or video call

Sessions are recorded (with your consent) and backed by the built-in knowledge base, in English and Bahasa Indonesia, so the person who joins your team next year onboards themselves.

Included · 6 months free

After launch, we don't disappear.

Six months of maintenance come with every installation. Not a support ticket queue. The team that built your platform, on standby.

✓

Bug fixes

Any functional defect in the delivered platform gets fixed. No debate, no invoice.

✓

Security patches

Critical security updates applied to your installation as they're released.

✓

Uptime monitoring

We watch your platform's availability and alert you proactively, often before you notice.

✓

Support standby

A dedicated channel, WhatsApp or email. Same-day response for critical outages, one business day for everything else.

✓

Performance optimization

If things slow down as your data grows, we tune queries and caching before it becomes your problem.

What maintenance is not

New features, UI redesigns, additional integrations, and custom reports aren't maintenance. They're new work. That's what the consultant retainer below is for.

Consultation (Retain)

A technology partner, not a vendor who left.

When your operation outgrows the standard platform, we become your dedicated technology team. The conversation, the planning, and the roadmap cost nothing. You only commit when there's something worth building.

→

What it covers

New feature modules, UI enhancements, API integrations, custom reports, data migrations, system scaling, and technology advisory.

→

How it runs

A feature roadmap maintained together, agreed each quarter. Dedicated response on business days, with development hours allocated per sprint.

→

How it flexes

Scope adjusts as your business does: additional hours or changed priorities, agreed in writing, no renegotiating the relationship from scratch.

Remember the module that now ships with every installation? It started as one client's retainer request. Your operation teaches the platform.

Questions & answers

Frequently Asked Questions & Answers

What do we need to prepare on our side?

Three things: web hosting (PHP 8.x and MySQL 8.x, shared hosting or a VPS both work), three domains or subdomains (one per environment), and an SSL certificate. We bring everything else: the platform, license activation, deployment, and training.

How long does onboarding take?

It depends mostly on how quickly your master data (ports, routes, fleet, rates) reaches us. Provisioning and training run in parallel, and we agree on a concrete timeline at kickoff rather than promising a number here that fits nobody.

Can you migrate our existing data?

Yes. Your first migration, from spreadsheets or an existing system, is part of onboarding and included free. Later migrations are available as an add-on.

Is training available in our language?

Sessions run in English or Bahasa Indonesia, and the built-in knowledge base ships in both. Sessions are recorded with your consent, and the recordings stay with you, so future hires onboard from your own material.

What does the free maintenance not cover?

New features, redesigns, additional integrations, and custom reports: that's new work, handled through the consultant retainer or a separate project. Maintenance also can't cover problems caused by misconfiguration on your own hosting, though we'll usually point you at the fix anyway.

What happens when the six months of maintenance end?

Your platform keeps running. The licenses don't expire and your data doesn't move. If you want continued cover and ongoing development, that's the consultant retainer. If you're happy as-is, you're happy as-is.

Is there an iPhone app?

Both mobile apps, staff and customer, are native Android today. The Apple ecosystem is on the roadmap. Your customers can already track shipments from any phone through the public tracking page, no app or login required.

Who owns the system and the data?

You do. SEALUTION installs on your servers, under your domains, with your data never passing through our infrastructure. Admin accounts are protected with two-factor authentication, and a full audit log records every action in the system.

Ready to board?

The gangway is right here.

Tell us about your fleet and routes. We'll show you SEALUTION configured for your operation, live, and walk you through exactly how onboarding would run for you.

No sales deck, no pressure. Just a real conversation about your real operation.
