What You Need
Before You Onboard.

People considering SEALUTION often ask the same question once they are past the demo: "okay, so what do we actually need to have ready?" It is a fair question, and one most enterprise software vendors are strangely vague about. Here is the honest, specific answer.

The three technical things

You do not need an IT department to run SEALUTION, but you do need three things in place. Web hosting that supports PHP 8.x and MySQL 8.x, shared hosting or a VPS both work fine. Three domains or subdomains, one each for development, staging, and live. And an SSL certificate for each. That is the entire technical checklist. We bring the platform itself, license activation, deployment, and configuration.

The business side: what only you can bring

The technical requirements are the easy part. The part that actually determines how smoothly onboarding runs is your business data and your people. We need your ports, routes, fleet and vessel details, and rate sheets, in whatever form they exist today, a clean database, a messy spreadsheet, or someone's memory. We also need a list of the staff who will need accounts, along with the roles each of them should have.

Most importantly, we need one person on your side who actually knows how the business runs. Not necessarily the most senior person in the room, but the one who can answer "wait, why does this route need two vessel types" without checking with someone else.

Onboarding is not "install and good luck." Before you go live, the platform is already configured as your operation: your ports, your routes, your fleet, your rates.

Four weeks, roughly

The typical shape of onboarding runs across four stages: gathering your data, implementing it into three live environments, testing and training your team, then fixing what surfaces before going live. We usually describe this as a four-week passage, but your exact schedule gets agreed at kickoff, built around your data and your team's actual availability, not a number that fits nobody.

What you do not have to bring

You do not need clean data. Your first migration, from spreadsheets or an existing system, is part of onboarding and included free. You do not need anyone on your team to already know the platform. Two training sessions are built in, one for admins and operations, one for the staff who live in the system daily, and the built-in knowledge base ships in both English and Bahasa Indonesia for whoever joins your team afterward.

What we are really asking for is not perfection. It is access, honesty about how things actually work today, and a little bit of your team's time. Everything else is on us.

Ready?

See it running on your operation.
Not ours.

Tell us about your fleet. We will show you SEALUTION configured for it, live, in a private demo session with the team that built it.

No sales deck, no pressure. Just a real conversation about your real operation.
