The Company
Behind SEALUTION.

We talk about SEALUTION constantly on this blog. We talk about the platform, the routing engine, the team of directors who built it. What we have not said plainly yet is who actually stands behind all of it, on paper, not just in spirit. So here it is.

A name, and a legal one

SEALUTION is built and operated by PT Kreasi Utama Maritim. The "PT" is not decoration, it is a Perseroan Terbatas, an Indonesian limited liability company, the same structure that sits behind most serious businesses in this country. It was founded by Unggul Kirindi, the same person who saw the gap in maritime software before most people thought to look for it, and who still owns much of the platform's architecture and code today.

"Kreasi Utama Maritim" is deliberately literal: creation, excellence, maritime. It is less a brand exercise and more a mission statement that happened to become the legal name on the incorporation documents.

Why a company, not just a product

A platform this deep, vessel registries, a routing engine that factors in bathymetry and currents, a full quote-to-invoice financial flow, a B2B module built for corporate freight, does not stay maintained by accident. It needs an entity that can sign contracts, hold liability, hire directors, and still exist in five years when a client's platform needs a security patch or a new feature.

That is what incorporating actually buys a client, even though it rarely shows up in a sales conversation. You are not contracting with an individual developer who might move on to something else. You are contracting with a company whose entire reason to exist is this platform.

"There are systems for trucks, and systems for planes. But where is the system for ships? Where is the platform built for the people who actually move cargo across Indonesian waters?", Unggul Kirindi, Founder

What incorporating changes, and what it does not

It changes accountability. Every commitment in a demo, a contract, or an onboarding plan is a commitment PT Kreasi Utama Maritim stands behind, not a verbal promise from whoever happened to answer the message. It changes continuity. Directors can join the team, roles can shift, and the platform keeps being owned and supported by the same entity throughout.

What it does not change is how the team actually works. We are still a small group of directors, not a large corporation with layers between you and the people who built the system. Incorporating gave the work a legal home. It did not give it a bureaucracy.

Built in Indonesia, incorporated in Indonesia

It matters to us that the company sits in the same country the platform was built for. Indonesia's 17,000-plus islands and tens of billions of dollars in annual maritime trade are not an abstract market to a company registered somewhere else. PT Kreasi Utama Maritim is Indonesian, building for Indonesian operators first, with the same complexity and the same stakes.

So the next time you see "SEALUTION" on an invoice, a contract, or a login screen, that is the product. PT Kreasi Utama Maritim, founded by Unggul Kirindi, is who is actually behind it.
